Lip enlargement

It is generally women who have lip enlargement (although some men do have it ). In most cases it is for cosmetic reasons to provide fuller more attractive lips. Occasionally it is done to correct deformity associated with cleft lip or trauma.

Procedure

Lip enlargement can be done by injecting artificial filler or fat or by surgical transferring a graft of the deepest layer of the skin into the lip. Putting in enough fill, not too much and putting it in the correct place are the things that matter in getting a good result.

Recovery

Recovery takes from a day to several days depending on which procedure is done. Your lips will be a bit over -swollen but will settle.

Results

Results are generally very good. Using a dissolving filler first is not a bad idea, because it will allow you to decide if it suits you. If you like it, have it repeated using a more permanent fill.
